Returning to Work: Is your office safe?
March 5, 2021

Earlier this week the Chancellor Rishi Sunak set out the budget for the next tax year. In this budget he confirmed that the ‘Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme’ or the ‘Furlough Scheme’ will be coming to an end in September 2021.

The Furlough Scheme was created by the government back in March last year as a result of the deadly ‘Coronavirus’ sweeping through the UK. This scheme allowed businesses to keep staff employed and claim 80% of their wages back from the government instead of letting them go.

As a result of this, in September any members of staff that haven’t already, will have to return to the office full time. Is your workplace safe and secure for returning staff?
